* Key Responsibilities :
a. Primary responsible for providing support to end user :
- Help end user in using desktop applications
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems
- Programming for helping other departments : Finance, Puschasing, Sales, Production Control...
b. In cooperate with the System Administrator for managing servers, workstations and networking devices
- File Servers, Web Server, SQL Server
- MS Windows Server 2003 Operating System with Domain Controllers
- MS ISA Server 2004
- MS Exchange Server 2003
- Local and Network Interface Printers
- Networking with Switches, Hubs, Wireless Access Points, ADSL Modems and Routers
- Workstation computer with MS Windows 2000/XP Professional and applications
- Workstation computers with specific applications and connect to laboratory machines
c. Data Backup and Restore
- Design, setting up and maintain a backup and restoration strategy
- Design and maintain a disaster recovery plan for the computer system
- Follow up Data tapes to be backed up and stored safely
- Restore data as required
d. Internet Services
- Maintains internet online 24/7
- Configure and maintain and ADSL, Leased lines and Modems and Routers
- Monitoring internet usage and bandwidth
- Study and suggest solution for improving internet access
- Provide remote support to end user

- Bachelor Degree in computer Science or equivalent
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Experienced system administrator or Desktop Support Technician
- Master of Desktop applications such as Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Anti Virus, Outlook, Corel Draw, Endnote....
- Through knowledge MS Windows 2000/XP, MS Server 2003, MS ISA Server 2004, Network infrastructures, ADSL modems and routers
- Excellent administrative skills and organizational ability.
